Zoë set-up Grassroots Ideas in 2008, and it has been her ‘baby’ ever since!

Zoë’s background in international Marketing, Communications and PR – along with her ‘glass half full’ attitude to life and good sense of fun – delivers real tangible results to businesses she works with.

Zoë has worked with some amazing brands around the world – including Sun Microsystems, Porsche, Le Coq Sportif and Adidas – and after a 6 year stint out in Dubai, has settled back home in the UK.

Having completed an MSc in Corporate Communications & Reputation Management at Manchester Business School – Zoë now focuses her efforts on putting something back and is particularly interested in ethical communications and business.

Outside of work – Zoë likes to test out her negotiation skills on a daily basis with her 3 year old son (although he usually wins hands down).

Paul spent much of his professional life with one of the worlds largest pharmaceutical companies.  In fact he was there for so long that we are convinced he was one of their test-tube babies!

With a background in science and degree qualifications in applied biology – you may wonder how Paul has found himself in the field of technology and communications?  But it is Paul’s highly methodical and results focused approach – along with his ability to make complex technical information understandable by all – that gives him the edge when it comes to communicating project ideas and milestone planning.  And you can be sure that if there are savings to be made – Paul has tracked them on a spreadsheet somewhere!  Paul has a natural talent for making people feel at ease - and really gets into the customers shoes when proposing solutions.

Away from work – Paul is one of those ‘outdoorsy’ types.  Whether its walking his faithful hound, mountain biking in the dark, or skiing down a mountain – the fresh air works wonders for that analytical mind!

A budding talent with deep roots in design and marketing!

Sarah started her career at Amtico International, designers and manufacturers of luxury vinyl flooring with a huge global presence. Climbing her way up the corporate ladder, Sarah blossomed as the company’s Global Creative Controller – leading the design and brand communications across Amtico International’s portfolio of products and services.

She met the love of her life, fellow creative David and love grew… Up-rooting from her Midlands home, she has settled into life in the urban jungle that is the Wirral. Here she has taken on various roles in the design industry including account manager, exhibition and design studio manager and brand publicist.

As Grassroots Creative Designer - Sarah has a great knack of taking clients not-so-specific-briefs and turning them into something wonderful!

Our Debs (or Hyacinth as we affectionately like to call her) hails from landed gentry don’t you know?  OK, so actually she hails from Yorkshire, but with that phone voice we are certain she has some blue blood in there somewhere!

Debs makes sure the Grassroots office is well tended to, managing all of our accounts, administration and almost daily contact with our clients to track the progress of projects.  She is also a mean proof-reader – so we make sure all of our copy-writing work is passed by her for final sign off.  They don’t call her Tippex Toft for nothing!

Debs is a Mum to four daughters (that’s right, FOUR!), has a husband that can turn his hand to anything, two slightly unbalanced rescue dogs that would give the Dog Whisperer a run for his money and is a ‘Nan-Nan’ to four beautiful grand-children.   What a lucky lady…
