A fresh approach to business

When Wikipedia talks about 'grassroots' in a political context - it implies that the creation of the movement and the group supporting it are natural and spontaneous - as opposed to a movement that is orchestrated by traditional power structures.

In simple terms - that means that the real change - and the desire for it, comes from the bottom up, rather than the top down. People are far more receptive to communications when its something they want to hear. Sounds obvious doesn't it?

Well you'd be surprised how many companies get it wrong. We've been there. We know multinationals. You know the ones - where there are 'empowerment' programmes and 'innovation' programmes, neither of which change anything. Where there are employee forums and feedback sessions - but nobody actually listens to what is being said. Where it's all about being a 'world-class, learning, knowledge-based organisation' - but no-one is quite sure what that really means?

The solution is simple.
