Community
We believe that home is where the heart is, so we try and fully engage with our community whenever we can. Grassroots Ideas were involved in the very early stages of the Congleton Transformation team (mybeartown.co.uk), which focused on revitalizing and rebranding our local town.
We also like to get involved with local charities and groups and are committed to offering our services wherever we can. We're passionate about encouraging teenagers to step-up - and work closely with Young Enterprise on their judging panel to inspire the next generation to do well by doing good.We try and source products such as milk, bread and fruit from local shops, and we go armed with our ‘Bags for Life’ so we don’t end up using too many carrier bags (if only we could remember to get them out the car boot!).
We’re also firm believers in doing our bit, and staff members have previously taken part in the ‘Race for Life’ run at Tatton Park in memory of a local young mum, and even spent honeymoons in Sri Lanka building houses for those who lost them in the tsunami. A community that needed more help than most.
