Grassroots was asked by Keynote to advise upon the development and introduction of a new system to support its key business processes. The system would be bespoke to Keynote and would provide a hybrid of functionality - Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Events Management (EM) and Accounts Management (AM).

Keynote wanted a solution fast! They had already invested lots of time and budget into several failed solutions ... so were willing to try something different with Grassroots.  We used agile methods and focused on close collaboration with users and developers rather than the big-up-front-design that they were used to.  We delivered the software in 4 iterations which allowed them to evaluate, test and most importantly make changes as we progressed. 

The new software enables salespeople to process and update course bookings quickly and efficiently; allows accounts staff to automatically link invoices with SAGE; provides a simple link between the live database of course information and the operational spreadsheet and helps managers access real-time data to increases the effectiveness of marketing programs.
